Cottonwood Canyon Road is a backcountry byway, one of the dirt roads that slant down through the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, running alongside Cottonwood Wash for most of its length and traveling through the very scenic Cottonwood Canyon. Areas of interest are Natural Arch, Cottonwood Canyon Narrows, Grosvenor Arch and Lower Coyote Spring. The Cottonwood Canyon Road is 37.1 miles long one way, with trips available as either one way or round trip. Minimum 3-hour tour one-way, 7 hours round trip. Come experience the Kodachrome basin on this truly unique trail.
