This trail is open year round, except for the most extreme of winter storms possibly causing the tour to be shut down. Check with us for latest information on tour availability, etc. Leave SURV for Kanarraville, taking 1-15 North to exit 42, then continue north on Old US 91. This particular tour offers two different trails, both from the same starting point. Please see below for each individual trail: 4 Bumblebee Mountain Road - From Kanarraville, head west under 1-15 for Bumblebee Mountain Road. There are more than a half dozen different trails that take off from Bumblebee. Bumblebee Mountain Road tour will be a little limited at first, until we are able to get a Dixie National Forest permit. This is the shortest tour we offer, with a total ride time of one hour. The Bumblebee trail will go as far south as New Harmony, and currently as far west as the border for Dixie National Forest. Kolob Reservoir - From Kanarraville, we follow Old US 91 until it turns off onto Kanarra Mountain Road. The tour heads by Graff Point, and continuing southeast until a fork in the road at the coal mines. Stay left until the trail intersects with Kolob Road. Turn south (or right) and follow south until you reach Kolob Reservoir, approximately 7.2 miles from where we turned. Once reaching Kolob, we stay on the north side of the reservoir, and take a half hour break for sights, food or general trail riding. After finishing break, the tour continues following the trail back to the northwest now, and after completing a circle, the trail connects back with Kanarra Mountain Road. For those on the overnight trip, we turn around here and make our way back 13.1 miles to our campsite in a stand of pines on the right, just outside of Alvey Wash Valley. Next morning after breakfast, group will pack up all trash and belongings, and begin on the trail back to the start. There are 58.7 miles for the trip today. Tour stops around Smoky Hollow for breaks and photo opportunities. Total miles, 71.8 one-way, 143.6 round trip. Total trip, 5.5 hours one-way, 11 hours, and overnighters will be approximately 29 hours.
